Beschrijving

Deze kaart geeft de National Cycle Network en de aanbevolen fietsroutes door Essex. Alle fietsroutes in betreffend gebied staan keurig ingetekend, dus ook die van het National Cycle Network. Ook veel praktisch zaken als bezienswaardigheden, stations, supermarkten, fietsenmakers, pubs, hotels etc. Bovendien zijn er vijf dagfietstochten op de kaart vermeld.

Deze kaart bestrijkt het volgende gebied: Essex & Thames Estuary Cycle Map - including Colchester, Harlow, Chelmsford, Southend on Sea, Thurrock and with five day rides: South of Saffron Walden, Woolwich Ferry and Dartford Crossing, Lanes north-east of Colchester, Southwest of Braintree, and Chelmsford and Maldon. Street plans show Basildon, Harwich, Chelmsford, Dartford and Colchester.

Uitstekende fietskaart

De Britse fietskaarten waren uitstekend. Alleen in sommige steden hebben we wat problemen ondervonden, i.e. in Harlowe en Colchester. In Colchester was dat waarschijnlijk wegens werkzaamheden aan de weg. Wij zijn overigens zeer tevreden over de snelle en accurate service van de Zwerver!

duidelijke kaart met voldoende informatie; handige aanduiding voor autovrije en autoluwe wegen; goed te gebruiken om fietstocht door oost/zuid Engeland uit te zetten. Prettig geprijsd!
