The latest edition of Quito has been updated and a beautiful map of the northern portion of Ecuador, where Quito is located, has been added as a full-sized map to the ‘back’ side of the paper. We have done this quite successfully with other titles, such as Paris (Northern France) and Buenos Aires (Northern Argentina). Quito runs north-south, which doesn’t fit a map page, so we show it that way, but with the printing going east-west, for easier use. The city is covered from the international airport in the north (with our trademarked plane in the process of landing, thanks to Andrew) to the old town in the south. The regional map goes from the northern border with Colombia to Guayaquil and from the ocean to the vast Yasuni National Park on the Peruvian border; printed double-sided;
