The mapped area lies largely within Toubkal National Park, a natural environment of outstanding landscape and ecological value, featuring rich biodiversity. The map includes a network of trails, trekking routes and access to major summits, as well as traditional Berber villages, mountain refuges and key points of interest.
Due to its proximity to Marrakech, this region is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Morocco. However, given the rugged terrain and navigation challenges, the use of local guides is recommended.
