Goed en veelzijdige overzicht van de Baskische provincies

Deze reisgids geeft een goed overzicht van de 7 Baskische provincies in Frans Baskenland, de Basque Autonomous Communities en Navarre in Spanje. Het bevat goede achtergrondinformatie over de geschiedenis, cultuur, en andere aspecten van Baskenland. Dit is onmisbaar gebleken tijdens onze reis door Spaans Baskenland en heeft veel dat we zagen en hoorden in een context geplaatst en begrijpelijk gemaakt. De gids bevat een schat aan informatie over de verschillende steden, stadjes, belangrijke plaatsen, natuurgebieden, heiligdommen, musea. Ook bevat het een aantal wandelingen die je kunt maken, hoewel wij aanraden voor wandelaars om er additionele informatie of gidsen bij te nemen. Een aantal suggesties voor cafés en restaurants waren wat verouderd. Omdat de gids een groot gebied bestrijkt, zijn niet alle mooie gebieden, plaatsen of routes beschreven. Dit zou wat completer kunnen worden gemaakt. Maar absoluut een goede gids voor wie de regio wil verkennen, met gevoeligheid voor de voor de regio en dynamiek.
