This Bradt guide is one of the view available specific guides for Mali. But it is a very good one. The guide has been really helpful when we were traveling through the country. Because we weren't doing a guided tour it was handy to have information about places to stay (in all price categories). I found the information given very valid and useful. Also the price indication seem to be right in most of the cases. The author is very knowledgeable and it's nice to read what the author recommends you to do and experience. So in the end I'm very satisfied with this guide and I can recommend everybody to go there (unless the climate) and to take this guide with you.
