Let op dit de A4 editie! Iets minder uitgebreid, maar veel beter te hanteren .....
 
In dit boek met spiraalband vindt u alle vrije kampeerplekken in heel Australië. Camps Australia Wide  is inderdaad een zeer compleet boekwerk voor de Australie-ganger die met de camper of auto en tent door Australië wil reizen. Het boek bevat de complete Hema Road Atlas van Australië en beschrijft daarnaast alle kampeermogelijkheden. Meer dan 3900 adressen van campings en natuurgebieden; rest camps, free camps, station stays, National Parks, State Forests & Parks, Low-Cost Caravan Parks, Dump point list, Pet friendly sites, Latest free camping sites, en door de auteur aanbevolen camping sites. Maar een reisgids met beschrijvingen van bezienswaardigheden is het niet. Camps Australia Wide is daarom vooral een boek voor de kampeerder in de natuur. After the runaway success of four editions, Camps Australia Wide has produced their fifth edition, with more sites, informative symbols and in full colour. This edition is A4 in size, has 408 pages and has been revised and updated with over 3,900 sites, thats 400 New sites.
 
Camps Australia Wide 6 includes the complete Hema Road Atlas, with the campsites positioned in their exact locations on the maps. As one person put it "What a bonus. Two books in one – so easy to reference".
 
This book is not just a guide to camping spots for certain areas, but encompasses the whole of Australia, showing rest areas, free camps, station stays, low-cost caravan parks, station stays, national parks, state forests, state parks and reserves.
 
Facilities at each site are depicted by symbols, including not only the standard ones, but those applicable to motorhomes, such as big rigs, maximum stay allowed, dump points, pets allowed, fees applicable. Descriptive icons include: close to road; pleasant outlook or vista; mobile phone coverage; dry weather access and author recommended sites. There are more sites with GPS co-ordinates, and site access details have been expanded.
 
Included in this edition is a list of over 600 dump point locations with addresses and contact phone numbers, as well as symbols to show suitability for cassettes, holding tanks, use for non-guests (and whether a fee is applicable), together with access suitability for big rigs.
 
The guide represents great value for money, especially when the cost of the book can be recouped after only a few nights camping out.
 
Being able to plan a trip with stopovers that are free or low cost, knowing if a pet is welcome and seeing at a glance what facilities are available, has proven to be a hit with travellers across Australia. It is easy to see why it is now clearly regarded as ‘the traveller’s bible’
 
All in all, an easy to use and comprehensive guide to rest areas and camp spots throughout Australia, a definite ‘must have’ for all travellers.

Dit boek is een must voor iedereen die met auto of camper Australie bezoekt. Wij zijn 2 maal eerder met de camper in Australie geweest. en hebben toen alleen de HEMA atlas gebruikt met verschillende losse boekjes met campings. Dit boek heeft alles in een. In augustus gaan we 2 maanden rondtrekken en kunnen we zien of het goed werkt.
